Upgrade and scrappage
Separate upgrade and scrappage paths, only when a verified scheme applies.
Upgrade path
An upgrade offer must identify the eligible Honda model/variant, offer source, dates, ownership criteria, benefit and cut-off. Confirm exchange only when the customer actually chooses that path.
Do not reuse Hyundai model lists, HMIL circulars or four-wheeler eligibility as Honda terms.
Scrappage path
A scrappage-only customer must not be asked to confirm an exchange-based upgrade. The offer must identify its applicable vehicle category, authorised scrapping process, required certificate, ownership criteria and validity.
No Honda scrappage scheme, location restriction, tax concession or benefit is asserted in this draft. The dealership must verify applicability before presenting a customer offer.
Combining offers
Use one consistent rule supported by the current manufacturer or dealership scheme. Record the dated source and obtain fresh acceptance if the eligible vehicle, benefit or scheme changes.
Required before this document goes live for acceptance
- Verify whether any Honda upgrade or scrappage scheme applies at all.
- Approve separate upgrade and scrappage declarations and supporting evidence.
- Approve one consistent combination rule shared with D4.
Both language versions must be reviewed together. The final process must preserve customer rights, identify its official channels and retain each exact accepted version separately.
